With over 25 years of diverse experience in the pharmaceutical sector, Guy Njambong is an expert dedicated to improving the pharmaceutical system. Currently working at the World Health Organization in Senegal, he plays a significant role in strengthening public and private institutions. This includes the development of regulatory and supply authorities, universal health coverage, as well as technology transfer. His objectives are to increase access to quality and affordable health products for all. Guy's career spans various roles, including dispensing, quality control, trading, risk management, e-commerce and telephonic management, market analysis, business development, and consultancy. In his different roles, he has worked on topics such as pharmaceutical raw materials, finished products and medical devices, as well as production equipment. His extensive experience has allowed him to gain a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, through organizations such as Novartis, Sanofi, GSK, General Electric Healthcare, Deloitte Consulting, EDQM, Phoenix Pharma, and the World Bank. Guy has a rich academic background, holding a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Paris-Saclay, an MBA from Sorbonne Business School, and a Master's in health law and economics from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne. He has also pursued various training programs to broaden his skills at ESSEC, ESCP, CESCI, and Utrecht University. Bilingual in French and English, he enjoys music and Japanese martial arts.
