The “Turabian” (short for Kate L. Turabian’s Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations) is the student version of the Chicago rule of style. It is the recommended rule of style at EUCLID for all Major Papers, with the following exceptions:
- Global Health students should use the WHO style
- LLM students should use the Blue Book style
To be specific (for Major Papers):
- Use footnotes, not in-text citations
- Italicize the title (in the footnote)
- Be consistent!
